A Compact 2-Hour City Tour Full of Highlights
This two-hour city tour offers a compact overview of Vienna, ideal for getting acquainted with some of the city’s most important sights in a short amount of time.
Details of Your Private Guided City Tour:
We begin our drive along the Ringstrasse (Ring Boulevard), one of Europe’s most magnificent boulevards. Here, you’ll pass impressive landmarks such as the Vienna State Opera, the Museum of Art History, the Natural History Museum, the imposing Parliament, City Hall, the historic Burgtheater, and the University of Vienna.
From there, we continue along the Danube Canal, where we’ll see the Kunsthaus from the outside, a fascinating example of the imaginative, colorful architecture by artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser, before heading to the Prater with its iconic Giant Ferris Wheel. We then make our way to the Danube and Donaucity, where you’ll experience the modern face of Vienna. You’ll get a view of the impressive Danube Tower, which, at 252 meters, is the tallest building in Vienna. The tour then takes us back into the city center via the Reichsbrücke.
In these two hours, you’ll enjoy a comfortable overview of some of Vienna’s most beautiful historical and modern highlights—an ideal introduction to the city that will leave you wanting more!

Recommendation:
This city tour pairs wonderfully with my 'Vienna Old Town Highlights' walking tour, a private guided museum tour of the Sisi Museum and the Imperial Apartments, or a tour of the Imperial Treasury, where you can immerse yourself in the imperial world of the Habsburgs.
